Rachael Ramsey, Ed.D.

Rachael Ramsey is an advisor to the IGYB Board. She has been a middle level educator for 23 years and works to empower adolescents to be their best versions in and out of the classroom. Her students loved the kindness work being done in the classroom so much they created a Kindness Club for grades five and six in her school. 

Rachael is currently working to complete her Doctorate in Education at New England College with her dissertation work in executive function. The dissertation work also centered around Youth Participatory Action Research highlighting the need to place student voice into education research. Rachael met Ann, Jen, and Hannah when they were presenting at the same conference. She was inspired and excited by Hannah to help other kids share their voice and become positive change agents within their communities.
